The STIHL GTA 26 cordless mini pruning saw is suitable for hobby users for pruning shrubs and trees as well as for green maintenance. The STIHL 1/4″ PM3 chain with high cutting power also makes it easy to shred green trimmings and other woodworking tasks. The mini saw has an ergonomic non-slip handle and a chain guard for safe working. The chain on the GTA 26 can be changed easily and without tools. With the STIHL GTA 26, you can also make your own home decorations or cut your own fence slats.
It’s available for purchase as a standalone device, or with a battery and a charger. Those can be used with other devices from STIHL’S AS line. At the moment that’s just the STIHL HSA 26 (cordless shrubs sears).

STIHL GTA 26 Accessories
Multi oil BIO
A versatile multi-purpose oil. It can be used as a lubricant (e.g. for GTA 26), as a cleaner, as corrosion protection, and as an impregnating oil. It cannot be used as chain adhesion oil for chainsaws. The oil has an environmentally friendly composition as it is made from 90% renewable raw materials and is also 90% biodegradable. The base oil is natural and non-resinous. Available in 1.7 to 5 fl oz bottles (50-150 ml).

Telescopic pole
The telescopic handle allows the HSA 26 to be worked vertically. Adjustable length from 37-42 inches (94-106 cm).
Standard charger AL 1
230 V. Compatible with STIHL AS 2 battery. Cable winding with clamping tape. Wall-mountable. The innovative charging method reduces the total charging time by up to 30% compared to a conventional charger with the same charging current. At the same time, this method guarantees gentle charging without overcharging the batteries.
Accumulator AS 2 (battery)
Lightweight, compact, and high-performance 10.8 V battery. Compatible with all 10.8 V tools from the STIHL AS system (not HSA 25). Battery energy 28 Wh 2. Weight 0.22 kg. The batteries can be fully charged up to 1,200 times with very little loss of capacity. The AS system models use a lithium battery type AS for multiple tool types. To further increase convenience, the state of charge is indicated at the push of a button by several LEDs on the tool (except for the HSA 25).
