Tested in the world’s most rugged environments, the Husqvarna 572 XP is ready for demanding work by forestry and tree care professionals. At just 14.5 lbs, the 572 XP has a better power-to-weight ratio and 12% higher cutting capacity than previous Husqvarna models in the same class. Excellent cooling and heavy-duty filtration maximize reliability, while a smart design accommodates longer guide bars. Thanks to AutoTune, Air Injection, and low vibration technology, the 572 XP empowers you to work all day. Get ready to cut faster, longer, and better than ever with the 572 XP.
There’s also a version with heated handles – Husqvarna 572 XP G. It’s a bit more expensive and heavier, but other than that, they’re identical.
Design
Flip-up tank caps
Easy to open and close when refueling.
Visible fuel level
The fuel tank is transparent, so you can see how much fuel is left.
Quick-release air filter & air filter cover
Easily removable air filter, when you need to clean it or replace it.
Heated handles (only 572 XP G)
For improved comfort and productivity, the heated handles keep your hand warm. Maintaining maneuverability and control at the highest level also increases safety.
Durability
Equipped with a state-of-the-art filtration system
Large surface heavy duty filter for longer and better filtration. The filter has a larger filtration area compared to the previous generation. Providing a chainsaw with a healthier engine optimized for long working hours.
Excellent cooling capacity for a longer engine life
Husky’s new cooling system is optimized in every detail to give you a reliable chainsaw for any situation.
Soft cut-out system
System for engine control designed to provide a long engine life. It monitors the engine and assures that it’s always protected from over-revving.
Better chip ejection avoids clogging
The clutch cover is designed to optimize rapid, safe saw chip ejection. Prevents clogging, even when cutting long fibre wood.
Felling sight to last a lifetime
Perfect sight is critical when felling. Distinct, colored marks on the chainsaw body used for aiming the direction of tree fall.
Air Injection
The centrifugal air cleaning system prevents larger dust and debris particles from reaching the air filter. In return, you get improved engine life and less maintenance cleaning the air filter.
Adjustable oil pump
You can control oil flow based on application and weather conditions.
Magnesium crankcase
Sturdily built crankcase withstands high RPMs and tough professional use. This ensures a long service life.
Three-piece crankshaft
Forged three-piece crankshaft for maximum durability for the toughest applications.
Safety
Low vibrations
The vibration dampening system called LowVib is present in all Husky chainsaws. Metal springs in the engine suspension reduce vibrations felt by the operator. This allows you to work longer without your hands getting exhausted and it also prevents developing medical conditions.
Rubber handle inlay for a safer grip
The rubber handle provides a firm grip, while still allowing you flexibility while you work.
Inertia activated chain brake
In the case of kickback, the inertia mechanism will stop the chain from running. This significantly reduces the risk of injury.
Performance
Higher cutting capacity
The new engine design offers a wide usable RPM range for peak performance even under heavy loads. 12% higher cutting capacity (compared to previous models in the same cc-range) makes the saw ideal for productive operation – even when using long guide bars.
10 times quicker air/fuel mix adjustment
AutoTune™ ensures a correctly tuned engine setting and optimized engine performance in all conditions.
Better maneuverability gives full control
The front handle bar position is close to the center of gravity, giving you better cutting control.
X-Torq
Probably the best thing about newer Husqvarna saws. It reduces emissions by up to 75% and fuel consumption by up to 20%. You spend less on gas and breathe fewer fumes. It also makes the saw CARB compliant.
Smart Start
Engine and starter design to start the machine quickly with minimum effort.
